Basketball Recap: Palisade Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Palisade extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Hunter Howard. The Palisade Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Palmer Ridge Bears 57-54 thanks in part to Howard, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Palisade has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Palmer Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Palisade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-36 defeat against Ponderosa on the 21st. As for Palmer Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-46 loss against Fruita Monument on the 21st.
