They walked away with a 54-45 victory over Community Christian Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Cornerstone Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Cornerstone Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Lily Brothers, who scored 41 points along with six rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Brothers has scored at least a third of Cornerstone Christian Academy's points.
Cornerstone Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Community Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian Academy will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
