Terra Ceia Christian is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Terra Ceia Christian had to suffer through a rough 50-21 loss at the hands of Christ Covenant. While losing is never fun, Terra Ceia Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while Christ Covenant is ranked 72nd).
Meanwhile, Eastern Christian HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 67-62 W over Albemarle School. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Ange, who scored 31 points. The match was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bre Ange, who scored 14 points.
Terra Ceia Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 14-0.
Terra Ceia Christian was taken down by Eastern Christian HomeSchool 48-18 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Terra Ceia Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
