West Texas came out on top against Booker on Friday thanks in part to Mackenzie Elliott's efforts. Elliott wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The contest was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Elliott and West Texas will face off against Gruver at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Texas is 8-2 against Gruver going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
