Maxwell scaled the state rankings by moving to 459 from 526 this week, the biggest jump in Mountain Valley. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of besting Fall River 35-7.
Maxwell extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Bulldogs, 35-7. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
5-foot-11 quarterback Hunter Morris of Chester is the league leader in passing yards this season with 970. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kyle Tobener. The Portola star has 12 catches for 346 yards.
In 109 carries Tristan Huegel has accumulated 959 yard this year.
The Panthers took down Fall River 35-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
