 Meanwhile, Bowdon waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with  a   14-9  victory over the Tigers. Bowdon's win was all the more impressive since the Tigers were averaging only 3.67 runs allowed on the season.
 Mt. Zion's victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-11. As for Bowdon, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Mt. Zion might still be hurting after the  10-0 loss they got from Bowdon  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023. Can Mt. Zion avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
