Easthampton/Hampshire came into their game  on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through  a    40-0 loss at the hands of the Lee/Lenox Memorial Wildcats. The  game marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.
 Colin Hogan threw for 28 yards  on three of nine attempts.  On the ground,  Jake Kostek rushed for 40 yards.
Easthampton/Hampshire's  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Lee/Lenox Memorial, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Easthampton/Hampshire will  square off against  rival Hoosac Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Lee/Lenox Memorial is set to  face off against  their familiar foe South Hadley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
