The Crandon Cardinals lost against the Three Lakes Bluejays back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Crandon took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Three Lakes. Crandon has struggled against Three Lakes recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Crandon still got an impressive performance from Omar Bailey, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Bailey scored a full 38.1% of Crandon's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kruz Kulinski was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Crandon bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Three Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crandon will take on Menominee Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Three Lakes' road trip will continue as they head out to face Elcho at 7:15 p.m. on December 14th. Elcho is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
