After flying high against Anson last Tuesday, North Stanly came back down to earth. The North Stanly Comets lost 10-1 to the Wheatmore Warriors on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Comets were already down 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Stanly will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against West Stanly at 6:00 p.m. As for Wheatmore, they will head out to square off against East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
