Deckerville has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will challenge the All Saints Central Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, the stars were shining brightly for Deckerville in a 62-47 victory over Carsonville-Port Sanilac.
Meanwhile, All Saints Central had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat North Huron 79-36 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory All Saints Central has managed all season.
Deckerville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for All Saints Central, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Deckerville was able to grind out a solid victory over All Saints Central when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 43-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Deckerville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
