It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Cordova Blue Devils with a sharp 10-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Central's fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cordova, they moved to 17-16 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Central nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
