Kodi Carapinha 2026 made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Ruby Salazar 2027 was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Ellison Smith 2027 also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

It's a different story for South Albany, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 strikeouts. Will West Albany keep running through batters, or will the Redhawks buck the trend?
Everything went West Albany's way against South Albany in their previous meeting back in April, as West Albany made off with a 9-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
