TERRA Environmental will square off against the Coral Gables Cavaliers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. TERRA Environmental knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Coral Gables likes a good challenge.
On Wednesday, TERRA Environmental got the win against Southwest by a conclusive 22-2. The game marked TERRA Environmental's most dominant win of the season so far.

Melissa Hernandez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Makayla Sosa was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Camji, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
TERRA Environmental hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.
Coral Gables couldn't beat South Dade on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Cavaliers lost 15-8 to the Buccaneers. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Amelie Delvat made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those runs were her first of the season.
TERRA Environmental pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 18.7 runs this season. As for Coral Gables, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. TERRA Environmental has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Coral Gables struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
TERRA Environmental got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February against Coral Gables by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will TERRA Environmental repeat their success, or does Coral Gables has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
