Meanwhile, Colerain was beaten by the Thunderhawks 57-11 on Friday. Colerain was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.
Fairfield has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Colerain, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.
