The Brandon Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Starkville Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Brandon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.7 goals per game this season.

Brandon is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Biloxi on Saturday. The Bulldogs and the Indians finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

Meryn Magee was the only thing that stood between Brandon and a shutout considering she scored both of Brandon's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Starkville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tupelo. That's two games in a row now that Starkville have lost by exactly two goals.

Brandon's draw makes their record 5-0-1 this season. As for Starkville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Brandon took their win against Starkville when the teams last played back in November of 2021 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
