On Thursday, Follett had just enough and edged River Road out 48-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Follett.
Follett can attribute much of their success to Reyna Rosales, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rosales has scored at least 25% of Follett's points. Another player making a difference was Alexia Dorris, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds.
Follett now has a winning record of 6-5. As for River Road, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Follett is on the road again on Friday and play against Miami at 11:30 a.m. on December 8th. Miami and Follett are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for River Road, they will take on Highland Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland Park comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
