On Grove City Christian's side, Tyler Benedum made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Benedum a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Grove City Christian is 5-1 when Benedum posts two or more runs, but 4-6-1 otherwise.
In other batting news, Grove City Christian got a massive performance out of Jadunn Harris, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Harris has posted since back in April of 2024. Jeff Collins was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
