Avier Elvira Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Palmer Ridge was led to victory by Avier Elvira, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Elvira rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.3). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Palmer Ridge pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Elvira and Palmer Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rampart at 5:55 p.m. on October 24th.

A Season-Best Effort from Camden Bruns Leads Rampart over Vista Ridge
On Friday, Rampart had to settle for second even though Camden Bruns put up the best numbers he has all season. Bruns forced a fumble and made 16 total tackles.
Bruns must have Vista Ridge's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bruns saw the Wolves), he picked up 0.5 sacks, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Air Academy found a leader in Jackson Schmadeka as the team took down Liberty on Thursday. Nobody could stop Schmadeka as he rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
