Rudder came into Friday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Lockhart Lions by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Rangers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Rangers were just returning the favor.

Addison Benavidez paced Rudder's offense, picking up eight kills. Benavidez got some help from Ja'Liyah McClenton and her 14 assists. Maddie Willis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Rudder's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Lockhart, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Rudder has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Devine on the 29th. As for Lockhart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Bastrop on the 29th.
