Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Northeast, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. One of the most notable was Jonathan Miller, who went 6 of 14 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sharif Wallace, who went 6 for 7 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.
Northeast smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science strolled past Northeast in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 71-56. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Northeast's Darrius Gaeta, who went 9 of 12 en route to 29 points and five rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Monday, will it be easier for Carver High School of Engineering & Science to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
