Oswego will be defending their home turf for the first time on Saturday when they go up against Minooka at Oswego Stadium at 10:30 AM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Oswego had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Saturday, breezing past Plainfield Central 42-0.
Meanwhile, everything went Minooka's way against Plainfield South last week as they made off with a 32-6 win.
Their wins bumped Minooka to 1-0 and Oswego to 1-0. With both Oswego and Minooka swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
