For the second straight game, Niagara Falls will face off against North Tonawanda. The Wolverines will be playing at home against the Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. North Tonawanda's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Niagara Falls hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Wolverines' pitcher stepped up to hand the Lumberjacks a 23-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Wolverines have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Johnathan Touma made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anthony Littere, who fired off two home runs, eight RBI, and four runs while going 5-for-6. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Ligammari, who went 4-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
Niagara Falls always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Tonawanda only posted an OBP of .241.
Niagara Falls' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for North Tonawanda, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
