The Harlingen South Hawks will head out to  face off against the Weslaco East Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It was a Battle of the Birds when  Harlingen South took on Hanna on Saturday. Harlingen South put the hurt on Hanna with a sharp  12-2 victory. The  win was nothing new for the Hawks as they're now sitting on five straight.

 Eduardo Hernandez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  a single  hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news, Weslaco East got a  massive  performance out of  Antonio Solis, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Marcelo Zavala also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 Harlingen South's record is now 7-3. As for Weslaco East, their record now sits at 6-3.
 Tuesday's   contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Harlingen South has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .495.
