Baseball Recap: Coral Springs Charter Victorious

On Tuesday, the Coral Springs Charter Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the American Heritage Stallions 6-4.

Marcelo Young tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Coral Springs Charter is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise.

At the plate, Yadisson Karbalaieasghar was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Jackson Taylor also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

The victory got Coral Springs Charter back to even at 5-5. As for American Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

The last four games Coral Springs Charter has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for American Heritage, they will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something American Heritage surely won't give up without a fight.
