The Northwest Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They lost to Rossview at home by a decisive 64-48 margin. Northwest has struggled against Rossview recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Rossview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Edwards out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds. Edwards has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Cameryn Ward was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Northwest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Rossview, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.
Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rossview also has no future games currently scheduled.
