Bishop Machebeuf hasn't had much luck against Dawson School recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Buffaloes will challenge the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. One thing working in Bishop Machebeuf's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
On Tuesday, Bishop Machebeuf made easy work of Denver Academy and carried off a 15-6 victory. The Buffaloes haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Jack Menke and John Menke made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Menke tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, John tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Menke scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while John scored two runs while going 2-for-4. John is becoming a predictor of Bishop Machebeuf's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
