The Rockford Auburn Knights won the last time they faced the Rockford East E-Rabs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Rockford Auburn simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rockford East 56-27 on the road.
Rockford Auburn was led to victory by Destiny Robinson and Ava Gray. Robinson dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Gray scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Elizabeth Mueller was another key contributor, scoring two points along with two steals.
Rockford Auburn's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-18. As for Rockford East, they dropped their record down to 3-23 with that defeat, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.
Rockford Auburn will take on Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Rockford Auburn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Rockford East, they will head out on the road to take on Belvidere North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
