Brunswick Academy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over Tidewater Academy. Considering the Vikings have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brunswick Academy got a massive performance out of Lexi Vaughan Howerton, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Howerton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Reed Walker, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Brunswick Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Kenston Forest waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Raiders 17-0. The Kavaliers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the third match they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Aubrey Mayton (2026) was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Hayden Hudson (2029) was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Marley Minton (2029) was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
Brunswick Academy's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Kenston Forest, their record now sits at 5-1.
Both Brunswick Academy and Kenston Forest just can't seem to miss. Brunswick Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12 hits per game. However, it's not like Kenston Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
