Johnson has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Linden Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Johnson suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Keith at home and fell 83-13. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Johnson has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Linden had to suffer through a rough 96-37 loss at the hands of Keith. While losing is never fun, Linden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Keith is ranked 202nd).
Johnson's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Linden, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Johnson came up short against Linden in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 77-72. Can Johnson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
