West Orange has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Apopka has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The West Orange Warriors will host the Apopka Blue Darters at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (West Orange: 3, Apopka: 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Tuesday, West Orange beat Boone 6-3. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lukas Stirewalt looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Miguel Acosta, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Apopka had just enough and edged out Olympia 4-2 on Tuesday.
Camron Pennock looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Nicolas Posluszny was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Another player making a difference was Aiden Rieli, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
West Orange's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Apopka, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. West Orange has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Apopka struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
West Orange couldn't quite finish off Apopka when the teams last played back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Will West Orange have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
