Maysville has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Carrollton Warriors at 6:15 p.m. Hopefully Maysville is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Carrollton in Ohio (Maysville is ranked 223rd, while Carrollton is ranked 607th).
Last Friday, Maysville strolled past Zanesville with points to spare, taking the game 56-40.
Alex Bobb continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Maysville's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wesley Armstead, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Carrollton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Garaway.
Maysville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Carrollton, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
