They came out on top in a nail-biter against Land O' Lakes Christian and snuck past 30-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for New Jerusalem Christian Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Jerusalem Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miguel Diaz, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Elijah Marcellus was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
New Jerusalem Christian Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Land O' Lakes Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
New Jerusalem Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Cristo Rey Tampa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Land O' Lakes Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
