Softball Recap: Peaster Wins Going Away Against Millsap

In Friday's Canine Competition, Peaster prevailed. They put the hurt on the Millsap Bulldogs with a sharp 19-2 victory on Friday. The game marked the Greyhounds' most dominant win of the season.

Peaster got a massive performance out of Kate Roberson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Roberson has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Melo Holt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Peaster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Millsap only posted a batting average of .308.

The victory got Peaster back to even at 8-8-1. As for Millsap, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Peaster is set to face off against their familiar foe Tolar at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Millsap will challenge rival Comanche at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
