Gude continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Meanwhile, Legion Preparatory Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy on Friday, but they still walked away with a 43-38 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Legion Preparatory Academy.
Legion Preparatory Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Palyn Reid, who scored 14 points. Neenah George was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
La Vega has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Legion Preparatory Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: La Vega hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 56.1 points per game. It's a different story for Legion Preparatory Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 58.4 per game.
