Baseball Recap: Tullahoma Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tullahoma entered their tilt with Moore County on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Raiders 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Grayson Waller looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jackson Schmisseur, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Frank, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Tullahoma hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive games.

Tullahoma pushed their record up to 23-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Moore County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15-1.

Looking ahead, Tullahoma will host Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moore County, they will venture away from home to face off against Warren County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
