Their tough 63-39 defeat to Grundy County might stick with them for a while. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Community struggled afterwards.
Despite their loss, Community saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Alyssa White, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Haskins, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Loretto beat Summertown 59-50 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Loretto.
Weathers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points. Jenny Clifton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Community's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Loretto, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home.
