James River barely beat Patrick Henry the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights blew past the Patriots 12-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

James River's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Patrick Henry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, James River will take on Carroll County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Patrick Henry, they will challenge Blacksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.9 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
