Jones is becoming a predictor of the Wranglers' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Valley Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by a 29-0 margin over Mountainside on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won three matchups in a row.
Duvuagn Pryce made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Sam Primack was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Levi Corrigan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two triples, and two stolen bases.

Saturday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wickenburg has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .562.
