After having lost a blowout in their matchup last week, Luther were happy to find some success on Friday. They got past Oklahoma Centennial with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 30-26. The win was a breath of fresh air for Luther as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped Luther's record up to 1-4. The defeat dropped Oklahoma Centennial's record to 1-4.
Luther will be playing at home against Hennessey at at 7:00 PM next week. Hennessey took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Luther's good fortune. Oklahoma Centennial will stay at home against Newkirk at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
