Robinson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Pulaski Academy Bruins 53-14. For the Senators, this counts as revenge for the 35-21 victory the Bruins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.
Leading Robinson to victory were Bryshun Cunningham and Reece Simpson. Cunningham gained 86 total yards and a touchdown, while Simpson threw for 194 yards and two TDs. Those two passing touchdowns gave Simpson a new career-high.
Robinson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hakim Frampton and Kevin (Deuce) Williams. Isiah Reese was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing two fumbles, and making 17 total tackles (2.5 for loss).

Looking ahead, Robinson will take on Jonesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pulaski Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
