While Cathedral Prep put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Meadville. The Ramblers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 4-0. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Ramblers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The result came thanks to Matthew Boam's shutout, as he gave up just three hits.

At the plate, Cathedral Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Fetzner, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Cathedral Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Meadville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Cathedral Prep will challenge General McLane at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ramblers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Meadville, they will square off against Erie at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
