Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 49-10 victory over Palos Verdes Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Tyler Moore in the first quarter, the Sea Kings led 29-3 at the half.
Palos Verdes grew its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. PV scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Daniel DiRocco.
Austin Nakata stood out for the Palos Verdes Estates school in the win. He kicked four extra points.
Palos Verdes Peninsula's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard pass from Ian Escutia to Jason Burr in the third quarter.
The Sea Kings came into the game allowing 14.7 points per game. Palos Verdes Peninsula's 10 points were well below their season average of 25.7 per game.
The loss was the third in a row for Palos Verdes Peninsula.
