Marysville (Ohio) both received superb games from their defenses, but Hilliard Davidson was able to break through the stalemate for a 14-7 win.
The Wildcats scored on two rushing touchdowns to secure the victory.
The two teams were tied at zero heading into halftime. Hilliard Davidson took the lead for good on a two-point conversion with 6:00 to go in the third quarter.
With the win HD extended its winning streak to six games. The Hilliard school defeated the CARDINALS 42-14 last week.
The Wildcats' most effective player was
E.j. Jennings. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns.
The Monarchs' lone touchdown came on a punt return in the third quarter.
Hilliard Davidson had given up an average of 14.7 points prior to the contest.
The loss comes after Marysville defeated Central Crossing 65-38 last week.
