The Ballard Christian Eagle's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 46-17 defeat at the hands of Calvary Christian. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ballard Christian in their matchups with Calvary Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Calvary Christian found their leader in underclassman Makayla Elizabeth reed, who scored 15 points along with nine assists and four steals. Elizabeth reed hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Anna Norton, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Ballard Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Calvary Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
Ballard Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Calvary Christian will head out on the road to square off against Konos Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
