This season hasn't been kind to the Glascock County Panthers, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taliaferro County on Monday. Glascock County lost against Taliaferro County in their previous head to head back in January of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-40 score last time.
Taliaferro County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Orlandus Craft, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jemauri Merritt, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds.
Glascock County bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Taliaferro County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9.
