Make it eight blowout wins for the Twin Lakes Indians this season. They breezed by Tipton on the road to the tune of 73-17 on Friday. While fans of Twin Lakes might be used to big wins, the 56-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Twin Lakes' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addie Bowsman, who scored 24 points along with seven assists and five steals. Olivia Nickerson was another key contributor, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 5 assists.
Twin Lakes' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Tipton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
Twin Lakes will be playing at home against the Berries on Saturday. Hopefully Logansport focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Wednesday. As for Tipton, they will head out on the road to take on the Trailblazers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. University is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
