Hurricane faced Spring Mills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Redskins' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Hurricane, bringing their record up to 14-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Spring Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
