Appalachian put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Victory Christian Lions get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Considering the Eagles have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Appalachian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Victory Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7-1.
