Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James, has committed to Arizona per an announcement via his Instagram account.
The
Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) senior is regarded as a three-star prospect according to 247Sports and is ranked as the No. 257 prospect in his class. He is listed as a 6-foot-4 shooting guard.
Little information was available about the recruitment of James but he had listed offers from Duquesne and Ohio State along with interest from USC.
Over the summer, James averaged 6.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists per contest over 14 games playing for Strive For Greatness on the Nike EYBL circuit. He played 22.0 minutes per game and shot 39.0 percent from the field, 36.8 percent from 3-point range and 64.0 percent from the free throw line.

James visited Tucson in November and is the second commit in its 2025 recruiting class, joining five-star Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) wing Dwayne Aristode for the Wildcats.
Much like his brother Bronny James, Bryce has gained notoriety on social media as the son of the NBA's all-time leading scorer and has 491,000 followers on Instagram.
As a senior, Bryce James has played a key role off the bench for the Trailblazers, averaging 6.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assist per contest while shooting 36 percent from 3-point range and 100 percent from the free throw line in four games. He missed the first nine games of the season due to an undisclosed injury.
Sierra Canyon is 11-3 on the season following a 75-74 loss to Santa Barbara (Calif.) on Monday night. The Trailblazers return to the floor this weekend when they face Bartlett (Tenn.) on Friday before taking on Houston (Germantown, Tenn.) on Saturday.
While his brother was named a McDonald's All-American in 2023 and is currently playing in the NBA G-League, Bryce is not considered to be on the radar of NBA teams at this time.
