Derek Keeley Dazzles in Rocklin Win
Starting off the list is Rocklin's Derek Keeley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Keeley rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Keeley might just drop another big game when he faces off against Del Oro on Friday. When Keeley last faced the Golden Eagles back in November of 2023, he rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

Jack Patock produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Jesuit to the win on Friday. Patock rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The second Rocklin player making an appearance here is Rafi Merino, and for good reason. He rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
This season, Merino has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 87.4 rushing yards per game.

Ryder Lyons Delivers Electric Performance Vs Whitney
Folsom picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ryder Lyons. Lyons was unstoppable, throwing for 171 yards and five touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for five or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Whitney had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lyons it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lyons saw the Wildcats), he threw for 267 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards.

Darnell Turner Jr. Delivers Best Effort of Season
Granite Bay came up short on Friday despite Darnell Turner Jr. delivering his best game to date. Turner Jr. picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Granite Bay's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. Turner Jr.'s next contest is against Davis Sr. on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
